Integration & Workflow Automation Specialist
We're looking for a technically minded builder who can connect Nicecall™ AI phone agents to the tools businesses already use — and make those connections work flawlessly.
About the Role
Nicecall™ is an AI phone receptionist platform that handles inbound and outbound calls, books appointments, qualifies leads, and follows up with customers — all automatically. The power of the platform multiplies when it's connected to the tools businesses already use every day.
As our Integration & Workflow Automation Specialist, you'll build the connections that make Nicecall™ truly plug into a client's operation. That means setting up webhooks, configuring API connections, building flows in Zapier or Make, and mapping data between Nicecall™ and CRMs, calendars, email platforms, SMS tools, Google Sheets, and order systems.
This is a no-code/low-code role — you don't need to be a software engineer, but you do need to be deeply comfortable with APIs, JSON, and automation platforms. The ability to troubleshoot a broken webhook and figure out exactly why a field mapping is failing is more important than being able to write backend code.
What You'll Do
- Build and configure automation workflows using Nicecall's flow builder, webhooks, and APIs
- Connect AI phone agents to CRMs (HubSpot, Zoho, GoHighLevel, Salesforce, and others)
- Set up calendar integrations for appointment booking (Google Calendar and similar tools)
- Map data fields between Nicecall and third-party platforms
- Configure SMS, email, and Google Sheets automations triggered by call events
- Troubleshoot broken automations and webhook errors
- Build reusable integration templates for common business setups
- Document completed workflows and configurations for client handoff
- Collaborate with the team to understand client use cases and recommend the best automation approach
Who's a Great Fit
- Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks
- Hands-on experience with Zapier, Make (Integromat), Activepieces, or similar tools
- Familiarity with popular CRMs (HubSpot, Zoho, GoHighLevel, Salesforce, Pipedrive)
- Comfortable reading and writing basic JSON payloads
- Experience with Google Sheets, Airtable, or similar data tools
- Able to troubleshoot integration errors independently
- Detail-oriented — knows that a missing field mapping breaks a client's entire workflow
- Good communicator — can explain technical setups to non-technical business owners
- Self-directed and reliable for project-based, async work
- Bonus: experience with AI tools, voice platforms, or communication APIs
The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in getting integrations right — the kind of person who actually reads API documentation and double-checks every field mapping before calling a setup complete.
Compensation
This is a flexible role — part-time, freelance, or project-based depending on your experience and availability. Pay is based on skill level and completed setups. We're not looking for the cheapest option; we're looking for someone who delivers quality work reliably. Specific compensation details will be discussed with qualified applicants.
